Vania Batchvarova studied the violin in Varna (Bulgaria) until 1988. She won twice the first prize in the National Concours of Bulgary in 1986 and 1988. From 1988 till 1993, she studied at the Tchaikovsky Conservatory of Moscow.

She specialized further in chamber music in 1994 at the Lemmens institute in Leuven with Roel Dieltiens and took classes with Nico Baltussen in the same institute. She graduated with great honours in 1997.
Vania Batchvarova took various masterclasses in Germany, Denmark en Belgium with amongst other Oleg Kryssa V, Paraschkevov, Cho-Liang Lin, Mark Lubotsky, Yfrah Neaman and Yehudi Menuhin.

She plays regularly in the Antwerp Symphonic and performed both as chamber musician and as soloist in Russia, Hungary, Czech Republic, Germany, Finland, Ireland, France, Belgium and Bulgaria.
